Build with us.

Most of every building is built by our trade partners. Here is how to find open work, get prequalified and get paid on time.

Pay partners like we want to be paid

Paid within thirty days of an approved invoice.

We pay approved invoices within thirty days, whether or not the owner has paid us yet. Retention is released with each trade's scope rather than at the end of the project where the contract allows it.

Questions about a payment go to accounts.payable@ferrowgate.example.

How it works

From a bid invitation to your first pay application.

  1. Prequalify

Tell us about your company, trades, licenses, insurance, bonding and safety record.

  2. Find packages

Browse the bid board by trade or office, or wait for an invitation from our estimators.

  3. Bid

Attend the pre-bid meeting, send questions before the RFI deadline and submit by the due date.

  4. Build and get paid

Site orientation, First Hour planning and monthly pay applications paid within thirty days.

Requirements

What we ask of every partner.

  1. Prequalified before award

Prequalification is reviewed yearly, and again when a package is much larger than your previous work with us.

  2. Insurance

General liability, auto, umbrella and workers' compensation at the limits in our subcontract, with Ferrowgate and the owner as additional insureds.

  3. Safety

A site-specific safety plan, daily First Hour participation and OSHA 10 for every worker on site.

  4. Public work

Prevailing wage, certified payroll and apprenticeship utilization where the owner or the law requires them.

Diverse and small businesses

We track and report minority, women, disadvantaged, veteran and small business participation, and we break packages into smaller scopes where that helps smaller firms bid.
