General contractor · Design-builder · Since 1971
We build the hospitals, schools and workplaces the Northwest runs on.
Preconstruction, construction management and design-build from four offices in Oregon, Washington and Idaho, with our own crews on the work that sets the schedule.

Project teams, craft and field, students and apprentices. Every eligible employee is an owner.
Employee-owned since 2009, building in the Northwest since 1971.
Numbers owners and sureties ask for first. The safety figures are dated; the method is on the safety page.

Recent work, completed and under construction.
Six markets, each with its own team and its own references.
Every market page lists its projects, the people who lead the work and what that kind of building asks of a builder.

Hospitals, outpatient clinics and medical office buildings, including work inside operating facilities.

University science and teaching buildings, and K-12 schools built and modernized around the school year.

Office buildings, interiors and workplace renovations delivered on tenant move-in dates.

Fabrication plants, distribution centers and process facilities, often design-build.

Libraries, county and city buildings delivered under public procurement rules.

Apartment buildings, adaptive reuse and mixed-use projects with ground-floor retail.

Every shift starts with the First Hour.
Before any task starts, the crew plans it at the work face: what could hurt someone, what will prevent it, and who can stop the work. Anyone on our sites can stop work, including trade partners and visitors.
2025 calendar year. Demo figures.
Four offices, each led by someone who lives there.
Each office has its own estimators, project teams and crews, so the people who price a project are the people who build it.

CM at-risk or progressive design-build? Choosing a delivery method for a public project
Both bring the builder in early and both end in a negotiated price. What differs is who holds the designer's contract, and how much control the owner wants over design.

What a guaranteed maximum price actually guarantees
A GMP is a ceiling, not a price. Here is what sits inside one, and the questions to ask before you sign it.

Building a school while it stays open
Four phases, two summers and no lost school days at Ridgeview High. What made it work.
