General contractor and design-builder for the Pacific Northwest · Since 1971

Lower-carbon buildings start in preconstruction.

Most of a building's embodied carbon is decided before we break ground. We price it alongside cost and schedule, then measure what happens on site.

  1. Measure embodied carbon early

Whole-building embodied carbon estimates at schematic design on every project over 50,000 sq ft, so structure and envelope choices are made with carbon in view.

  2. Build with timber where it fits

Mass timber and hybrid structures offered as an alternate on suitable projects, priced alongside steel and concrete.

  3. Cleaner jobsites

Grid power instead of diesel generators where the utility allows, electric small equipment and idle limits for trucks.

  4. Divert waste

Sorted waste streams on every site, with monthly diversion reports to owners.
