VDC & Prefabrication

Federated models, clash detection, laser scanning and prefabricated assemblies that move work from the site into a controlled shop.

An engineer working on a coloured building services model across two monitors.

We build every complex project twice: once in a coordinated model, then on site. Our virtual design and construction team runs clash detection with trade partners, scans existing buildings and designs prefabricated assemblies such as multi-trade racks and headwall units.

  • Federated model coordination and weekly clash reviews
  • Laser scanning of existing buildings
  • 4D sequencing for logistics and phasing
  • Prefabricated MEP racks, headwalls and bathroom pods
  • Model-based quantity take-off
  • As-built models for facilities teams
How it works

The sequence, step by step.

  1. Model

Design and trade models combined into one federated model.

  2. Coordinate

Clashes resolved in weekly sessions before anything is fabricated.

  3. Prefabricate

Repeatable assemblies built in the shop, tested and delivered on schedule.

  4. Turn over

An as-built model and asset data handed to the facilities team.
