The problems this project had to solve.
Design-build from a program
The physician group came to us with a patient-volume forecast and a date. We held the architect's contract and priced the building at concept design, then locked the price once the imaging equipment was chosen.
Imaging first
MRI shielding and the equipment's delivery route set the building's plan. The MRI vendor was part of the design team from the first month.
Open on the day promised
Sitework began while interiors were still being designed. Patients were seen on the opening date agreed nineteen months earlier.
